Strengths

This is a lovely email. It’s a plain and simple birthday greeting to remind you how long you’ve been with them and that you matter to them. I call this happy design, the email has a playful feel to it and it might even put a smile on your face.

The email is aesthetically pleasing. A good colour palette, centred content, very little content, and a big image.

But what good would this email be from a business perspective without a call to action? And of course that would be to use Twitter by tweeting!

The footer is nice and simple. I find “Opt-out” a friendlier word choice than “Unsubscribe.” Their physical address is a bit more difficult to see, because it’s not as important. But it has to be there to comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. If your emails don’t tell your recipients where your business is located, that could increases the chances of your emails being caught by spam filters.
