Once home to an Italian-American cheesemaking company and, before that, a pair of mysterious brothers, Ace Hotel Chicago will live in a stoic, industrial brick building in the West Loop of the Most American, Biggest-Shouldered City there is. In the words of Mr. Twain, it's a place "where they are always rubbing a lamp, fetching up the genii, and contriving and achieving new impossibilities."
