Arc Update | Your feedback = our new features

Preheader

We launched 4 of your top requests! Link Routing, Translate, Site Search, and improved window-dragging are here — all thanks to you.

Taking your feedback to heart

There’s a reason we leak new features and prototypes on @arcinternet, our members-only Twitter…

And there’s a reason our CEO is always asking you questions on this place we call the internet…

Because what you think matters. So often, your feedback leads directly to cool new stuff — like the new features below.

Enjoy what’s new, all thanks to you!

Search sites right from the Command Bar

Thanks to members like

@JulienBlanchon

, you can now search almost any site right from your Command Bar.

Just press ⌘T, type YouTube, press Tab on your keyboard, and off you go. Amazon, Twitter, Github, and more work out of the box — but you can add other sites too with this

guide

.

Search a brand on SSENSE, authors at The New York Public Library, songs in Spotify, or anything else you can dream up!

Air Traffic Control for your links

Thanks to little nudges from members like

@hannahwrightt

, you can now automatically route links from specific sites directly into the Space you choose.

For example, you could route all GitHub links to your Work space, or all Twitter links to your Personal space! Just type Links into the Command Bar (⌘T) to get started.

A brand new translation menu

Thanks to members like

@flaming_raptor

, you can now more easily switch back to your original language, and see other options too!

Arc: now less of a drag!

Thanks to… too many of you to count… it’s now way easier to drag the Arc window around. Just click and drag almost anywhere in a site header to give Arc a new home onscreen. Pretty smart, huh?

And how could we forget your tippy-top request: Arc for Windows! We’re tracking our progress weekly on Twitter — aiming for the end of 2023 🎆

But you have more ideas, don’t you? Send them our way anytime. Just open your Command Bar (⌘T), type Share Feedback, and write us a note.

We can’t wait to see what you dream up next!
