Aside from Three Men and a Baby, the original Alien was the first horror movie I ever watched. I remember sitting in a babysitter’s living room, terrified, constantly glancing at the big bay window and glass French doors. Years later, during the final walkthrough of the house my wife and I were buying, I stepped into the living room, saw those same windows and doors — and realized it was the exact place I’d watched Alien as a kid.
