Bonjour June! Summer travel plans are taking off, and what better way to start the season than with a trip around the world? Our newly released project for Cointreau’s Limited Edition Global Travel Retail collection transforms each bottle into a passport, celebrating the spirit of six iconic cities - Paris, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, and Dubai. Curious where this adventure took us? Keep reading.
Every year, Cointreau releases a limited-edition collection only available in airports. But with such a diverse audience, speaking to every market with a single artistic voice can be a challenge. So, Cointreau turned to our team to lead the creative concept for 2025.
We began with three keywords at the heart of the brief: travel, cities, and cocktails. These words served as our guide with the goal of creating a visual language that would speak to the spirit of global discovery while celebrating the individual personality of each location.
Building on this foundation, our label illustrations took shape, drawing inspiration from travel emblems like postcards and luggage stickers that felt perfectly suited for a collection exclusive to Global Travel Retail. With airports as the point of sale, we leaned into the energy of adventure and turned each label into a visual souvenir. Rather than relying on expected symbols to represent each city, we got creative and chose elements like local foods, florals, and cultural motifs. To deepen the connection between place and product, each city was paired with its most popular Cointreau cocktail.
Originally presented to four key markets, the concept resonated so strongly that two additional markets opted in, expanding the final project to six in total.
To bring the campaign to life across touchpoints, we produced a full range of assets alongside the packaging, including: key visuals for social media, motion design, recipe cards (print and digital) pairing each city with its signature cocktail, 3D packshots, and a full merchandising toolkit with launch guidelines for global airport distribution.
We’re so happy to have gone on this adventure with Cointreau, and look forward to being spotted at your next take-off or landing!
For each Bonjour Paris project, we have a playlist that inspires and reflects our work in the background. Here’s what we jammed out to while working on Cointreau.
