Embroidered codes

Phoenix-based designer Collin Fletcher is one of the minds behind the Ascetic House label aesthetic as well as numerous music and art projects that have seen him championed (and ripped off) by some of the world's best. New to the shop, his "Codes" sweatshirts (available in hoodie or crewneck) bring an embroidered crest with Ghostly's various haunts to the fore.

Meet Ouri

Hailing from South America by way of France, Ourielle Auvé produces electronic music in Montreal as Ouri. Her Ghostly International debut EP arrived last month, and "from here on she should widely be considered one of electronic music's rising stars," says Exclaim. For a feature at the blog, she collects five tracks inspiring her craft.

Deep travels

Shigeto's live ensemble heads next to the west coast of North America; at the blog he reflects on a recent trip to Japan. This winter Matthew Dear joins MGMT in Europe (after remixing their entire album), and Beacon celebrates Gravity Pairs with four intimate release shows. Also touring: Kllo, Steve Hauschildt, and Mary Lattimore.

Archiving energy

We spoke with Los Angeles-based multimedia artist and zine publisher Nina Hartmann, who designed individual pieces to correspond with each of the eight tracks on Spectral 139. Often comprised of archival imagery, symbols, screen prints, and Xerox collages, her distinctive art explores themes of spiritual phenomena, the collective unconscious, and creative destruction.
