                          Announcing the reissue of Emeralds classic Solar Bridge
                          Solar Bridge was the proper introduction to Emeralds — musicians John Elliott, Mark McGuire, and Steve Hauschildt — kickstarting a prolific, critically acclaimed five-LP run before they disbanded in 2013. Made primarily with synthesizers and guitar, Emeralds' music possessed an astral psyche indebted to German kosmische forebears, descending from that pioneering era with a home-crafted and distinctly Midwestern rust belt noise/drone edge.
                        

Released in 2008 on Aaron Dilloway's (Wolf Eyes, etc.) Hanson imprint, Solar Bridge saw praise from various corners of the experimental music world, including top honors in The Wire's year-end Rewind issue, becoming a cult favorite and one of the trio's most sought-after LPs, a moment of glistening primacy that boots up a catalog and legacy that the heads still grapple with.

                          Emeralds begin to make sense of it on September 30th with the remastered reissue on Ghostly International, including expanded artwork and the unreleased digital bonus "Photosphere" — a sprawling 17-minute cut from the Solar Bridge sessions. The LP is available in black and limited edition yellow wave vinyl.
