I joined charity: water as President just about a year ago and wanted to share with you a few of the special things that I’ve come to love — our talented team, our dedicated local partners, our unique funding model, but most of all, you.

When you sponsor a water project, join The Spring, or use your birthday to fundraise, you’re not just helping people get access to clean and safe water. You are doing that of course. But your ongoing support — month after month, year after year — gives us the freedom to move quickly, invest in the most effective water solutions, and ensure our local partners across 21 countries have what they need to keep building sustainable water projects.

Because of the generosity of this community, charity: water is one of the largest funders of rural water projects in the world. We recognize this as both a privilege and a profound responsibility.

The challenges facing our world, our sector, and the communities we serve are real. But time and again, you show up. You prove that a world where everyone has access to clean and safe water isn’t just possible — it’s within reach.
