Get help with math equations
Stuck on a math problem? Ask Bard for a step-by-step explanation of how to solve the equation. You can even take a photo of the question and upload it instead of typing it out.
A teen-friendly Bard experience
Bard is now open to teens with onboarding and protections geared to empower learning, exploration, and inspiration. This version of Bard is currently available in English in
most countries around the world.
Charts & graphs to visualize data
Bard can now generate charts from data or equations you include in your prompts or from tables that Bard generates during your conversations. We even made a graph resembling the Bard sparkle while playing around with this new feature!
Here’s what else you can now expect to see in your conversations with Bard:

Bard’s responses can now appear in real time as they are being generated.

Occasionally, Bard will provide side-by-side responses. Select the draft you prefer to give feedback on which response is better.

Prompt Engineering 101: Be Specific

When writing prompts, it’s best to be as specific as you can. Getting into detail allows Bard to better understand what you’re asking for to give you a more informative response.

Give me a list of names for my puppy.

Give me a list of 8 names for my gray husky puppy.

What type of plant should I get?

What type of low maintenance house plant should I get for my apartment that doesn’t get much sunlight?

Explore what others are saying about Bard and how people are using it in really cool and interesting ways.
At our Made by Google event in October we introduced Assistant with Bard, a personal assistant with Bard’s generative capabilities and Assistant’s personalized help. You can interact with it through text, voice, or images.

This is still an early experiment, so we’re rolling it out to testers to get their feedback before bringing it to the public over the next few months. Stay tuned for more details.
