3rd Ritual

Intention Setting & Words of Wisdom

We’ve never been keen on the expression “new year, new you” because, unlike a snake who sheds its skin in one piece, our evolution is constant and incremental. At the risk of disappointing anyone holding their breath for 2021’s arrival, when the clock strikes midnight you will still be your same, sacred self.

With that in mind, we prefer to close out the year by focusing on the lessons learned, and setting intentions instead of goals. An intention is qualitative, embodied, and presently available whereas a goal is quantitative, action-oriented, and often a future projection.

If you’re new to this ritual, here’s a prompt for reflection: how do you want to show up for your loved ones, for your colleagues, and for yourself?
