How it all started

Our story began with a bold vision: to capture the essence of iconic analog synthesizers and make them accessible to everyone.
It all started in 2003 with the Modular V, a faithful recreation of the legendary Moog Modular synthesizer, one of the first commercially available modular synthesizers that shaped the sound of early electronic music.

Driven by passion and precision, we aimed to preserve the character and nuance of this timeless instrument. From then on we were dedicated to making the sounds of the world’s most iconic instruments accessible for everyone. 

Over the years, V Collection expanded, embracing new instruments and technologies:

V Collection (2005) featuring ARP 2600 V, CS‑80 V, Mini V and Modular V.

Analog Factory (2006) Arturia’s first curated set of presets released from V Collection synths, which later became Analog Lab.

V Collection 2 & 3 (2008 - 2012)

Expanded the suite to include the Jup-8 V, Prophet V, Wurli V, SEM V and Analog Factory.

V Collection 4, 5 & 6 (2014 - 2017)

Introduced the Solina V, Matrix-12 V, VOX Continental V, Synclavier V, B-3 V, Stage-73 V, Piano V, Buchla Easel V, CMI V, Clavinet V, and the DX7 V further diversifying the range of classic instrument emulations.

V Collection 7 & 8 (2019 - 2020)

Introduced the CZ V, Synthi V, Mellotron V, Jun-6 V, Emulator II V, OP-Xa V, and the Vocoder V along with updates to existing instruments.

V Collection 9 (2022) 

Expanded the suite with the KORG MS-20 V, SQ80 V, Augmented STRINGS, and Augmented VOICES, and included complete rebuilded engine.

V Collection X (2023)

The latest iteration introduced the MiniFreak V, Acid V, CP-70 V, and Augmented GRAND PIANO, along with updates to the Mini V and Wurli V, bringing the total to 39 instruments.

As we continued our journey, we ventured beyond the realms of pure analog synthesis to explore new frontiers in sound. Including our own engines, digital synths emulations and augmented acoustic sounds.
