Hello everyone!

We wanted to take a second to share some details about our latest LightOS update. Click the link below to view the full details of the update change log. 

With this update, we've re-arranged some of the phone's settings for clarity as well as enabling forwarding of links/MMS by default and making hotspot an optional tool.

Spell-Check

--

Introducing a spell-check setting for composing text messages. A misspelled word is indicated by an underline. Long pressing that word will display up to three alternative options for correcting the spelling error.

We've also added an Auto-Period setting, which adds a period when you press the space bar twice.

These new features are enabled by default, to disable them:
Settings > Preferences > General > Keyboard.

Alarm Upgrades

We've updated the Alarm tool to support multiple alarms. You can click into any alarm to make it a daily repeating alarm. While in the Alarm tool, you can also use the volume buttons to set the alarm volume.

Copy (& Paste), Forward, Delete Texts

You can now long press any text message to bring up options for copying that message, forwarding it to your Light account email or deleting it from your history.To paste a message that has been copied, simply long press where the cursor is when composing a message to bring up the paste option.

Device Storage Settings

We've also added a section to the settings for viewing and managing your device's storage.

Settings > Account & Info > Storage.

There are options for clearing all of your phone history, clearing just the stored MMS history (which tend to take up more space) as well as an option for automatically clearing history that is over 30 days old.

Those are some of the biggest changes, but we've also addressed a variety of bugs as well as some improvements to existing tools like Podcasts and Directions, which we will continue to improve in future updates.

We are also making good progress on our Notes/Voice-Recorder tool, which we're eager to share with everyone in a future update!
