Hello Smiles Davis,

Firstly, yep its been a bit between communication and typefaces — 2020 really did send us on a bit of a loop and I'm sure everyone is in the same boat. It really meant we need to scale back our focus on Metis, However now we are back! So thanks for sticking with us and we hope you are all well.

So this weirdo typeface is a companion to our previous release LXII — This one came about by complete accident and was the result of seeing what each weight looked like piled on top of one another.

From there it was a bit of a slipper slope into rolling out the entire typeface... Lets just say there were a bunch of hurdles... some leaving a mental scar that will be with us for a while.

Also side note before we let you go we are selling the Alexandro type specimen posters over at io design company. 

We are planning on selling more physical stuff shortly through io in time. Check them out there are not too many left.
