The Arne Jacobsen wrist watches are the epitome of timeless design pieces, but did you know that one of most famous Danish architects of all time was a passionate gardener and nurtured a lifelong interest in botany?Evergreen is the second watch in the series that pays tribute to the botanist Arne Jacobsen. The dial is in a deep green colour, made with a circular fine brushed finish, which gives the watch a slightly changable green colour. The design is true to Arne Jacobsen's original watch design from 1956. The watch is now available in a new 34mm version in polished IP Gold.

Arne Jacobsen Watches
Arne Jacobsen was a passionate botanist, the garden for his house on Strandvejen in Klampenborg, where Jacobsen lived from 1951 until his death, was his botanical laboratory. The garden is neatly laid out by Jacobsen himself and contains a wealth of plants - originally over 300.The garden area is tightly laid out in various small garden spaces, which are primarily composed of green plants - ferns and bamboo occur frequently and in numerous varieties in the garden. Jacobsen was not interested in strong colours. He thought they were a “slap in the eye”. "I have always liked green plants that bloom the most, but where flowering is not the most important thing," he said. The small, listed garden differs markedly from the architect's others, and is considered one of his masterpieces in garden architecture.
