I’m Lanny, Director of Product Management here at Emma. We regularly get requests from customers like you who are excited to learn more about upcoming Emma product additions and new features.
That’s why I’m excited to share this first edition of our Product Roadmap for this quarter. It highlights some of the more significant product updates we are planning to release over the coming months.
Earlier this year, we took the opportunity to refresh our product mission to ensure we’re hyper-focused on what we’re building and why. In 2020, our mission is to: “provide our customers the ability to control and scale their email marketing, delight them with continuous value, and tailor the product experience to their specific industries.”
Over the next few months, we're modernizing and improving the way you build your emails and creating integrations that align with our customers' industries. There are a lot of exciting updates to come. We'll be sure to keep you updated.
Best,
Modernizing the way you build emails and adding new, essential integrations.
One of the most common feature requests we get from our customers is in Emma's email editor. Over the next 4 months, we're rebuilding Emma's email editor from the ground up to not only make it easier to use but to add many of the top features you've been asking for. The new email editor will include all of the existing functionality and will also include improved performance, a more intuitive experience, and brand new features (more formatting options for text and images, undo & change history, and GIFs, just to name a few!). Both editors will co-exist for a time giving you the opportunity to switch to the new editor at a time that works for you. Stay tuned for more updates!
Higher education is near and dear to our heart here at Emma. We’ve spent years working with top universities like Yale, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt University to improve their email marketing strategy and we're proud that those institutions, and over 500 more across the globe, trust Emma for their email marketing. Creating an integration with Blackbaud will ensure universities can sync their data from Blackbaud to Emma and vice versa allowing for better segmentation, personalization, data integrity, and streamlined workflows.
Here’s a recap of some of the new tools and product enhancements that we recently shipped.
Powered by Beaufort 12 (the same company that built the #1 rated Campaign Monitor integration), Emma's Salesforce integration allows for seamless adding and updating of contacts between Emma and Salesforce. Check it out here.
Single sign-on seamlessly connects Emma with your organization requiring only a single set of login credentials across multiple apps and reduces the risk of bad password habits. Currently live for all HQ administrator accounts. Go to your account settings to enable single sign-on.
We recently redesigned our signup form experience to make form building easier and more intuitive. There are new options for instant contact field creation, adding subscription options to your forms, and connecting your API keys. Read more about the updates here.
