As restaurants start to open back up across the Bay Area, it’s important to support
the restaurants you love now, in order to ensure the dining future you want to
see. And thankfully, with so many takeout options this month, doing so is delicious
and easy. This is your
Resy At Home Hit List.

Cassava |
Cassava is back. The Richmond favorite has reopened for takeout family meals
(available via Resy)like prime rib dinners or beef ribs, in addition to a
la carte options (fried chicken sandwich, Japanese breakfast) and an online grocery
store that includes handmade pasta kits, wine, sake, and more. //Outer Richmond.

Aziza |
Mourad Lahlou’s reimagined Moroccan fare is available for takeout and delivery
seven nights a week. In addition to a full menu of signatures — brown-butter couscous,
chicken roulade with smashed olives, the must-order basteeya — there’s a whole
slew of items for your pantry and a giant produce box from Tomatero Farm. //Outer Richmond.

|
Z Zoul Cafe |
The Bay Area’s only Sudanese restaurant comes from chef and owner Aref Elgaali,
and it’s open for takeout and delivery. Start with a cumin-laced Sudanese
lentil soup. Don’t miss the signature roasted lamb shank over rice, and then finish
with roz billaban (rice pudding) mixed with milk, mastic, and chopped nuts for
dessert. //Tenderloin.

|
Pearl 6101 |
The excellent Pearl 6101 is offering take out Tuesday through Sunday nights. On
the menu are batched cocktails in small and large formats (don’t miss the namesake
martini). On the food side, we’re particular to the halibut crudo and chicory salad
for starters, and you can’t go wrong with any of the pastas, especially the white
Bolognese pappardelle. //Richmond District.

|
Soba Ichi |
Soba Ichi’s artisanal, hand-cut fresh soba noodles are available to go. There’s
also an option for the dipping sauce, and alcohol by the bottle is 50% off. Do
you need any more reason? //West Oakland.

Miss Ollie’s |
Chef-owner Sarah Kirnon’s singular Caribbean cuisine at Miss Ollie’s is an Oakland
destination. Jerk chicken with rice and peas; curry goat; and salt fish and ackee
are all ways to feed the body and the mind. Grab a cocktail to go with your order
while you’re at it. Available for both takeout and delivery. //Old Oakland.

|
Red’s House |
Taste wonderful Jamaican fare from the mother-and-son duo of Sharon and Christopher
Russell of Red’s House. A good order might be to start with some crispy jerk-fried
chicken wings, and a Jamaican beef patty, them move onto a curried goat main and
a whole grilled jerk lobster for good measure. Wash it all down with a rum punch
slush and call it a meal. //Financial District.

|
The Charter Oak Restaurant |
Christopher Kostow’s Charter Oak is back open — for curbside pickup
(order here) and for full-service dining on the sprawling courtyard
(reservations here). Raw vegetables from the restaurant’s farm with fermented
soy dip, buttery Brokaw avocado salad, and their delicious cheeseburger with fries
are guaranteed winners, but you can’t really go wrong. //Napa.

AU Loungefor the creative Creole fare from East Bay
pop-up legendEdward Wooley, a.k.a. Chef Smelly. Get everything under the sun
and sea, from bone-in cowboy ribeyes, to blackened prawns, Dungeness crab, and

Gialina |
If you haven’t noticed by now, we think pizza should be eaten weekly. This week,
give Gialina a go. Maybe it’s been a minute, maybe you live around the corner,
but Sharon Ardiana and co. just started doing takeout. In addition to four-cheese,
margherita and sweet Italian sausage pie options, there are little meatball starters
and salads aplenty, as well as cook at home pantry items and pasta kits. //Glen Park.

Primavera |
One of our favorite things to do in the city is hit up the farmers’ market on
Saturdays at the Ferry Plaza, where you have access to some of the finest produce
in America. By buying directly from farmers, you’re supporting the ecosystem. And
while you’re at it, a great ritual is to get a wonderful plate of chilaquiles from
Primavera. Buttery scrambled eggs, perfect chunks of avocados, and salsa-soaked,
crispy chips. And those beans!
