Concrette with solid foundations!

The inspiration for this typeface originated while we were crafting our sans-serif counterpart, Dazzed. Intrigued by the challenge, we endeavored to adapt Dazzed's construction principles to a serif framework, incorporating exaggerated arches, while drawing rhythmic and structural inspiration from the iconic Trajan's column typeface.

Concrette represents the zenith of our journey through serif typeface design, a journey that commenced with Reckless and progressed through Tobias and Teodor. Its design is a synthesis of our cumulative discoveries, akin to the formation of composite materials like concrete.

Includes an extensive range of styles from Thin to Heavy.

The Concrette font family offers a trio of distinct variations: XL, M, and S. The XL variant excels in headlines, boasting substantial stroke contrast, while the S variant, with its muted contrast and robust serifs, is adept for smaller text. The M variant, versatile and balanced, is an ideal choice for a wide range of sizes and applications, particularly at medium scales.

Variable font allows you to adjust the contrast value to the selected font size or printing technique.

Uncover the elegance within the italics: the letters "G, E, F" are adorned with unique swashes, a creative twist directly inspired by the classic design found in the terminals of "V, W, X, Y, Z." A subtle blend of tradition and innovation, just waiting to be explored.

Concrette, synthesis of our cumulative discoveries, akin to the formation of composite materials like concrete.

Thanks to Mimi and Jana for their devoted work during the winter photo shoot. We hope the pull ups and the bottle as solid as concrete warmed you up!

The Concrette BOTTLE is made of recycled Tritan plastic (BPA-free). It is lightweight and has a capacity of 1 litre. Available in black with two print variants – black and white. It has been produced in collaboration with Merchery, a supplier of sustainable products.

Silk-screened and sleek, Concrette BOTTLE is available in black with a choice of black or white prints. Fun secret: it pairs seamlessly with Nalgene caps you may already own.
