Introducing Hype Chat: A new way to stand out

Partners, you have a lot going on while you're streaming. That's why we've introduced Hype Chat, a new and additional way for your viewers to stand out and reach you. You'll also earn a share of the revenue from each Hype Chat purchase.

Protect your community with chat verification

Did you know that you can require phone or email verification before viewers get chatting in your channel? Yep, both you and mods can access this feature via Chat → “Manage Moderation Settings”. Pick Email or Phone verified viewers only, and adjust options to your heart's content. For example, you can limit the requirement to chatters with accounts aged less than say 1 hours or 3 months, to chatters that have followed for at least 3 days or just leave your subscribers off the list. Have a play, and you'll soon find the settings that fit you the best.

Twitch's New Channel Point alerts are now live in your dashboard

Alerts are some of the best tools in a Twitch streamer's kit for expressing yourself and recognizing support from your community. We've listened to your feedback and are excited to announce that one your most requested features, Channel Point alerts, are live today! Remember, there is no need to switch over all your alerts to try out any of Twitch's. Our alerts play co‑op with anything you have set up already.
