Peloton: Welcome to the Peloton app


The Peloton app brings fitness to your fingertips by allowing you to access live studio cycling classes and endless high-energy workouts anywhere, anytime.
Our certified instructors often call out terms relating to the Peloton bike that can help keep you motivated and moving. Here's how you can interpret these terms for your indoor cycling bike:

Resistance

A level of difficulty and effort from 0 (easiest) to 100 (hardest). You can
treat these numbers as a percent of your bike's difficulty settings.


Cadence

How fast you're pedaling, usually between 60 and 110 rotations per minute. Cadence often falls in line with the class music, so you can always just ride to the beat.

Now that you're up to speed, all you have to do is step up and start pedaling.
