If you need to briefly step away from the vehicle, activating Pet Comfort maintains a consistent interior temperature to keep your non-human family members safe and comfy until you return.

With its own paw icon on the climate control screen, Pet Comfort is an example of how we’re continually adding new features for the R1T and R1S through software updates — making Rivian vehicles even better over time.
In addition to keeping your pets cool in summer or warm in winter, it lets you remotely monitor cabin temperature through the Rivian app. You’ll even have pet-sitting support from our Gear Guard character, who appears on the center display to assure passersby that there’s a comfortable climate inside. Please remember that the Pet Comfort feature is only designed for your pets. Never leave a child unattended in the vehicle. |
