Lots of people would like to try meditation. But you're different, you've seen that intention through. Go you! Take the next step, and become a consistent meditator by chalking up another session.
It's meditation practice.
Not meditation perfect.
Here are Andy's tips for developing a daily habit.
Meditate first
thing in the morning
It gets rid of sleepiness, you're less likely to be interrupted and it will help you be mindful during the day.
Same time,
same place
This motto will help you develop your meditation habit. Defend this special time, it benefits you and those around you.
Don't judge
You aren't good or bad at meditation. There's no such thing, only distraction or non-distraction.
Always reflect
on the benefits
Notice how you feel at the end of the session. Establish a connection between training the mind and feeling clearer and calmer, it makes it easier.
Be flexible
There'll be days when your routine is thrown out of shape. It's inevitable. Don't skip a day, just do it later. A minute is better than nothing.
“Perfection has no place in meditation. Give up any expectation of a particular result and rest at ease with whatever is present.”
