Carhartt WIP has collaborated with the UK-based photographer Elliot James Kennedy, creating a series of images that brings the pastel-hued palette of the S/S22 collection to the fore. With a focus on archetypal garments, such as the Single Knee Pant and Michigan Coat, Kennedy’s own idiosyncratic style lends additional texture, with painted elements and tape detailing applied to each image. Burner phones, books, and large-scale chess pieces, meanwhile, add a sense of bricolage to the final compositions.
