The Coronavirus and our Pet Parent Families


Dear Pet Parent,

Like everyone around the world, we’re concerned about the coronavirus and monitoring the information coming from the CDC. Our number one priority is the health and wellness of both your family and our own family of store employees. This is something we’re taking very seriously.

While no one knows the twists and turns the outbreak may take, there are critical steps we are taking to maintain the healthiest store environment possible.

At the store:

  • Increasing the frequency of cleaning to sanitize all high touch areas more often.
  • Distributing more wipes to store teams for members to wipe down internal surfaces.
  • Ensuring sufficient stock levels of soap and soap dispensers remain filled in washrooms.
  • Availability of hand sanitizer dispensers at cash wrap counters (and in backrooms for employees).
  • Enabling and encouraging any store employee who is sick for any reason to stay at home.

Please know that while we love to see you and your pet in the store so we can talk and get to know each other, you always have the ability to order online in case you wish to avoid unnecessary contact.
