To our community -

To Our TRR Community,

The blatant, horrific racism in action around us has shaken us to the core. Countless lives have been taken senselessly. We feel that deeply and we know communities are hurting. We stand with so many of you in saying enough is enough. The systemic mistreatment of the black community has to end. Black Lives Matter. And, we know actions speak louder than words. We recognize that we haven’t done enough, and we are committing to listen, learn, support and advocate.

Change starts from within. We’re proud to have a diverse TRR team that primarily identifies as non-white, but being diverse isn’t enough. We can and we will do more to support and empower our team. Here’s how we’re getting started:

● Forming a Diversity Task Force to advocate for our Black, People of Color and LGBTQ communities and ensure our work is rooted in equality
● Establishing Employee Resource Groups as a safe space to share experiences and raise concerns
● Conducting listening tours so we understand how to better support our teammates
● Beginning unconscious bias training for our managers and leaders
● Engaging a diversity consultant to assess and challenge our approach

We have a responsibility to use our voice and our resources to advocate for change. We’ve donated to NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund to support their important work fighting racial injustice, and we’re doing the work to form deeper nonprofit partnerships that can help drive change. We’re exploring ways we can better use our platform to support and empower diverse voices and talents in our fashion and business communities.

We know we don’t have all the answers and we won’t always get it right. But we will learn and we will make progress together. And if you see an opportunity for us to do more, please reach out. We’re listening.
