Upcoming changes to our legal policies

Mailchimp is now an Intuit company!

In case you missed the big news, Mailchimp has been acquired by Intuit! As we work towards becoming one company with a shared vision of serving our customers, we want to let you know about some changes we’re making. Updates to our Standard Terms of Use, Additional Terms, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Addendum will become effective January 10, 2022 and will automatically form part of our contract with you. 

Here's a summary of what's changing:

  • Standard Terms of Use. We've added that Mailchimp is an Intuit company! We've also made updates to our dispute resolution terms and included additional terms to clarify how your data will be processed as we become part of Intuit.
  • Additional Terms. We've shortened the additional terms so that they are easier to read and understand.
  • Privacy Policy. Now that we are an Intuit company, we'll process personal information in accordance with the Intuit Global Privacy Statement, which has been updated to reflect Mailchimp's processing activities.
  • Data Processing Addendum. We've made updates to our data transfer terms to include the new EU standard contractual clauses.
