Updates to the Thumbtack Guarantee

Effective May 8, 2020, we’re updating the terms of the Thumbtack Guarantee. Any eligible claims submitted before then will still qualify under the previous terms.

What’s happening?
We are making changes to the

Thumbtack Guarantee Terms . Starting May 8, 2020, coverage offered under the Thumbtack Guarantee will be changing. If your job wasn’t done as agreed, you may be covered up to $1,000. Accidental property damage may be covered up to $100,000. 

I’ve submitted a claim. What’s the status? 
Eligible claims from requests submitted to pros before May 8th will still qualify under our previous Terms  – up to $2,500 for jobs that weren’t done as agreed and up to $1,000,000 for accidental property damage.
