Audio cues can help you react to danger. Melee attacks are communicated by a distinct sound that builds up towards impact, while ranged attacks are identified by their weapon-specific charging or projectile sounds.

The scanning mechanic from Horizon Zero Dawn returns for Horizon Forbidden West™ – use Aloy’s Focus to tag enemies, locate their weaknesses and highlight their movement paths to plan your strategy.
Show your Valor
There are 12 Valor Surge features to unlock and upgrade in Aloy’s skill tree. Unleash powerful attacks by charging up the Valor bar through skilful actions like hitting enemy weak spots.
