Over the past quarter, we’ve made tons of updates that enable more efficient knowledge sharing—from syncing context across docs and tools, to more flexible sharing settings, to AI-powered suggestions to improve your writing. Read on to discover all the shiny new things you can try!
This is particularly useful if you have workspace members from multiple domains. As always, you can choose what level of access these groups have—view, comment, or edit.
"It depends!" |
|
When you’re managing a large project, nothing is more tedious than updating your tracker line by line every time a dependency delivery date changes. Our new enforced dependencies feature adds a layer of automation and smart logic to your project timelines, so you can link tasks and automatically adjust timelines if something shifts. |

Something to sync your teeth into. |
|
Sync pages are an efficient way of giving your team context without needing to switch tabs. You can sync pages with subpages, or even a whole doc into another doc, so if you’re working on multiple projects or with other teams you still have all the details you need in one place. |
Plus, you can now embed Jira and Trello dashboards, alongside Figma, Miro, Mode, and more, with full-page embeds.
A(I)-grade updates:
Get candid, relevant comments on your doc from Coda AI to help you improve readability, format, length, grammar, and more—just like getting a co-worker to give feedback, but available 24/7.
Finesse your AI prompts before filling columns (and using your credits) with a more detailed preview of what the AI will generate.
Toggle between faster answers or a higher quality (GPT-4 Turbo-powered) response when using AI chat.
Track and manage AI usage by Doc Maker with a new admin dashboard, plus set a daily cap to manage credit use.
Purchase additional AI credits—or go unlimited—if you’re looking to unlock even more AI goodness.
It goes both ways.
Packs support two-way sync, so you can make updates directly in Coda and have them sync back to Salesforce, Jira, GitHub, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and more.
A new perspective.
Anchor the row details view to the right-hand side of your doc, so you can see it while navigating and editing pages.
Insights in sight.
Get more visibility into how members of your workspace are using Coda. Admins can now view last engagement, number of owned docs, and Coda AI usage per member.
In harmony.
In the Chrome browser, you can securely embed Coda docs on Google Sites and edit them directly from the embed.
Security, security, security.
Enterprise teams with internal security requirements can set up custom policies for sharing, publishing, exports, uploads, and more.
Time is endless.
Timelines are easier to navigate and view. Scroll infinitely without losing your place, zoom in to a single day or out to several years, and jump to “today” or to a particular task.
Fresh paint.
Groups in tables have had a design refresh to make them easier to pin, collapse/uncollapse, and take actions on.
Shipathon fun.
This month our product team continued our annual “shipathon” tradition, devoting an entire week to shipping as many quality-of-life improvements as possible. We shipped over a dozen updates, including default page widths, ability to toggle “Add a column” on or off, and more. Follow along here to see more shipping soon!
Making connections.
Admins can view Pack requests in internal ticketing systems using the admin API.
