A quick note: Some bank and credit card statements do not distinguish between authorizations and settled charges. Therefore, if your trip duration is longer than 7 days, you will see an initial security deposit hold that will be released and then held again every 7 days until your trip ends.
If you’ve paid using Visa and Mastercard, our authorization hold is up to 30 days after you finalize your booking. All other cards require a 7 day hold. Additionally, owners have 7 days to charge renters for the security deposit, but with their permission Support may release it earlier
