It’s important for you to feel safe and comfortable on every trip, which is why we have a Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to driving under the influence.

Regulations require us to remind you that if you are on an Uber trip and have reason to believe your driver may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, ask the driver to end the trip immediately. Then exit the car and call 911. After the driver has ended the trip, immediately report your experience to Uber by reaching out in-app, calling Uber’s Safety Incident Reporting Line, or emailing customercomplaints@uber.com.

Working together to maintain community standards

In order to drive with Uber, all drivers must adhere to Uber’s Community Guidelines, a set of guidelines explaining what behavior is and is not acceptable on our platform.
