This wasn’t just a nightclub - it was a sanctuary.
A sacred space where DJ Frankie Knuckles graced the decks.
Where Chicago’s Black and Latino gay community found liberation on the dancefloor.
Where a genre was born.
People didn’t ask record shops for electronic music or disco edits. They asked for that Warehouse music.
And just like that, house music got its name.
Our print captures that spiritual energy - spectral hands rising from the Chicago skyline, dancing into eternity. The soul and spirit that still flows through house music to this very day.
