Like you, I hate sneak charges on my credit card. That’s why I wanted to make sure you knew that your subscription to Tangle is going to renew in one week.

Many, many services do not give these kinds of notices because users sometimes cancel, but we’re trying to build something unique at Tangle — trust with our readership, transparency, and an ethical business model.

It's been nearly three years since I quit my full-time job to take on this project, and it's not possible without folks like you. So I also wanted to take this moment to say thank you for your support. In a competitive media environment where other outlets have wealthy backers, advertisers and clickbait, your subscription helps keep us independent. It also helps us grow. We now have a podcast, three editors, two interns, a social media team, a YouTube channel, and a whole group of folks continuously trying to improve our newsletter.

In the year ahead, we’re going to continue to roll out unique new content, features and offerings for our subscribers, so we hope you stick it out with us. If you have any questions, you can always reply to this email, which goes straight to my inbox.
