Many, many services do not give these kinds of notices because users sometimes cancel, but we’re trying to build something unique at Tangle — trust with our readership, transparency, and an ethical business model.

It's been nearly three years since I quit my full-time job to take on this project, and it's not possible without folks like you. So I also wanted to take this moment to say thank you for your support. In a competitive media environment where other outlets have wealthy backers, advertisers and clickbait, your subscription helps keep us independent. It also helps us grow. We now have a podcast, three editors, two interns, a social media team, a YouTube channel, and a whole group of folks continuously trying to improve our newsletter.
