Previously, user syncing between your Softr app and data source happened one-way only, meaning that users added from your source didn't appear in Softr. With this new release, your users will sync both ways — whether they’re added from source or Softr.
P.S. Two-way user sync will be available on all new apps. We’ll slowly roll out the option for you to enable it on existing apps as well.
If a dropdown input or inline filter is linked to a field in Airtable with the “limit record selection to a view” setting enabled, the app will now honor this setting. It will only display the permitted options to your end users.
No more guessing! From now on, when mapping Softr fields, only the compatible Airtable fields will be suggested to choose from. Image to image, date to date, etc.
In case you missed it from our Softr Universe announcement, you can now create your own template from your app!
You can share it to showcase your skills, generate leads for your business, or sell it to earn extra 💰
You can also submit it to be featured on Softr Universe.
Based on feedback, we’ve learned that the concept of preview user is confusing, so we decided to retire this feature.
From now on, you’ll get to log in as real users in preview mode and test the app before publishing the latest changes.
Pretty soon we’ll also add a feature that allows you to quickly preview as specific users without entering login credentials.
