28KM LONG RUN

This weekend the team took to the Peak District for a 28km long run, we are now 3 weeks out from the Paris Half Marathon and into the peak weeks. This was our longest run on the training block, from here we have the feel good workouts, tune up races, a few more track sessions and hopefully some PB’s.

Kerry - ‘What are your goals for 2023 for UVU Club?’

Dear Kerry, 

Last year and the re-launch of the brand turned out to be a great success, we’ve been growing at an incredible rate, but it still hasn’t rooted itself in the sporting world. It’s all still very fresh for both the consumer and also for myself. Some people still don’t know quite what it is, and it’s my priority this year to make sure everyone does.  So broadly speaking by the end of this year I want to dig the brands foundations deeper, both online and irl so that UVU stands strong amongst other sportswear brands we all know. 

More specifically, we are currently on the hunt for a gym space here in London. Which will be ‘The Training Club’, and possibly the first of many. We shall see. There are also dates in the calendar that we will build activations around, namely Paris Half Marathon, London Marathon and NYC. 

Another one of our priorities for the year is developing our women’s products. We firmly believe we can find our place in the womenswear market as we are doing with the mens already, and with that reaching more females. 

We have so many ways in which we can build on what we have just started, and the majority of those routes will come to light at some point, we just need the right timing.
