6 years ago, I had it all:

A software business doing seven figures a year, a wife and two kids, frequent vacations, big house, nice cars.

2 years later, I lost everything.

My wife and I got a divorce, we did curbside drop-off for the kids, I sold my business for a job I hated, and I ended up living in my aunt’s basement.

I hit rock bottom.

I started reassessing my life. What went wrong? What could I change?

One of the first things I noticed was my sleep, which had always sucked because I snored louder than a chainsaw.

It was so loud that my wife slept in another bedroom for years before the divorce, which slowly eroded our intimacy.

Nestor wrote about a study he participated in at Stanford Medical Center where he plugged his nose for 10 straight days to force himself into mouth breathing.

A few days in, he became a heavy snorer, developed sleep apnea, and his blood-oxygen levels dropped to dangerously low levels.

So he unplugged his nose and started taping his mouth shut before going to sleep…

And just like that, all the negative symptoms disappeared.

The light bulb went off in my head: Mouth breathing wasn’t just ruining my sleep.

It was ruining my life.

After one night of mouth taping, I knew I was right. I slept like a kid and woke up feeling energized for the first time in years.
