<h3>Strengths</h3>
<p>This onboarding/retention email from MailChimp is a great example of how dead simple but helpful an email can be. Helpfulness is often overlooked in favor of either visual appeal or overloading an email with glittery links. If I’m a new customer and I’m trying to get into MailChimp this is a great way to keep me invested and give me the help I need to take those first steps.</p>
<h3>Weaknesses</h3>
<p>You could maybe argue that the logo should be the version with the logotype included for better recognition from the customer, but the email subject does include their name, so that may not be necessary. I’d love to see MailChimp spruce these up with a tad of color as they do on their site, I think it adds a lot of warmth over the grey and white.</p>
