As we mark five years of distinguished service, we are proud to offer a special utility for the occasion. This handcrafted all-purpose carryall performs like a workhorse, rides like a thoroughbred, and in true Soft Services fashion, becomes softer with consistent use. Limited to an edition of 200—with quantities becoming scarcer by the hour.

Each bag was expertly washed, cut, sewn, and finished by hand, and riveted and hand-tacked in accordance with traditional workwear standards. A special edition of 200 was completed by three sewers over five days in Los Angeles. Sized as a minimalist weekender and/or maximalist day bag at 19” x 14” x 6” with an 11” handle drop, outfitted to carry you through the next five years in ever-increasing softness.

² Woven for the hardest wear.

Body composed of 14 oz. cotton twill, woven in Mexico from thick-gauge yarn. Indigo-dyed and stonewashed for classic workwear-standard durability, structure, and salt-and-pepper texture. Designed to fade and whisker in unique wear patterns, according to individual use.

³ Features of soft utility.

On the front, an embossed Soft Services wordmark is steel-pressed for crispness and fabric-backed for flexibility. On the rear, an exterior patch pocket is triple-divided by topstitching into three compartments for wallet, pen, and phone, with two patches hand-stitched on either side. The interior is fully lined in reverse-side denim with a key clasp at the top edge.

Also included with the Carryall: six (6) iron-on jacquard-woven patches to be placed where you please.

We chose workwear-grade cotton denim for our Carryall for its multi-century history of devoted service. A workhorse textile with hardscrabble roots, denim was first created to outlast and outperform in the hardest-wearing conditions—the fabric of choice for French farmers, Californian miners, and rough-and-tumble children. Denim’s graceful endurance and softening powers have earned its status as an essential wardrobe fixture, beloved for its habit of molding to individual use.

The duality of service and softness—hallmarks of luxury—make denim a favorite canvas for creative play and reinterpretation for high fashion designers and doodling teens alike. Through its wear, it provides us a model to carry forward: aging elegantly, yet never getting old.
