Explore health and wellness industry emails with dynamite designs. Get inspired for your own campaigns!

The health and wellness industry has been booming with no signs of slowing down. The phrase "there's an app for that" couldn't be more pertinent in a market where phones are one of our most valuable healthy lifestyle tools. We use technology to schedule doctor appointments, order a buffet of customized vitamins to our doorstep, listen to guided meditations, and so much more. In such a competitive marketplace, we wondered how health and wellness industry emails stack up, and gathered some of our favorite designs here.
#1. A vitamin subscription brand
One brand helps you find the right vitamins and supplements for your goals, lifestyle, and values, then delivers them to customers once a month, with a modern, elegant identity featuring bright photography, line illustrations, and a healthy dose of millennial pink. Like most design-forward brands, it maintains a sleek, simple header (logo only) followed by a large, beautiful image, with a zig-zag layout featuring live text and pared-down monochromatic iconography. In lieu of CTA buttons, the brand chooses color-coded links in each module, an interesting choice worth A/B testing against a single bulletproof CTA.
#2. A brain training app
Health and wellness is about keeping your mind sharp too. One brain training app with games that help flex cognitive muscles around memory, attention, and speed uses a friendly, warm brand identity with flat illustration styles and a jewel-tone color palette. HTML background colors bring liveliness to each module and clearly delineate one section from another, with a slim line of white space creating a nice buffer.
#3. A nutrition tracking app
One brand that helps you track what you're eating to achieve your weight goals sent a welcome email that's stunningly action-oriented, opening with "let's get going right away" to set the tone immediately. Each module follows an inverted pyramid layout to introduce a key image followed by two lines of text and a call to action, with large, easy-to-read type and buttons, and no two CTA buttons repeating the same text.
#4. A women's health brand
One brand making natural, organic health products for women offers a subscription service where shoppers can build custom kits for direct delivery. A recent promotion email shows the product itself with a 3-sentence description for each, plus a purple box effect that ties in perfectly with the images for a cohesive, monochromatic look.
#5. A meditation app
Knowing that meditation might be intimidating for beginners, one meditation app employs a friendly, warm visual identity and tone in its onboarding emails. A single-column design, optimal for mobile screens, helps readers focus, and the email walks readers through an explanation of what meditation is with easy-to-read live text and cheerful illustrations, ending in a clear and direct call to action.
#6. An oral care brand
One brand making sleek electric toothbrushes and oral care products has a super modern visual identity with plenty of white space. Its welcome email pairs photos and illustrations beautifully, with ample white space giving the send a fresh, airy vibe, and saves its call-to-action for the end of the email.
#7. A doctor-booking platform
One platform that helps people find and book doctors sends an encouraging email after a certain number of completed appointments, reflecting a fresh, friendly tone of voice. It's not every day readers get an email with a "congratulations" instead of a call to action, and the cheerful illustration incorporates the brand's mark into a zero-to-one-hundred graph.
